Hey all, renting a car in Orlando next month and Budget has by far the cheapest rate.
BUT I was reading reviews and people were saying the line for Budget at the airport takes like 2 hours?!
Is this true or just people exaggerating on the internet?
I’m landing with kids at 8pm and really don’t want to stand in line forever

I don’t have personal experience with the Budget line at MCO, but Orlando is a very busy airport and rental car counters can get crowded, especially in the evening when many flights arrive around the same time.
Sometimes the long waits people mention online happen during peak arrival hours or holidays, but experiences seem to vary a lot depending on timing and staffing that day.
If possible, it might help to check in online in advance or look into skip-the-counter / fast pickup options, which some rental companies offer.
Hopefully someone here who has rented from Budget at MCO recently can share their experience as well.
