# Best places to visit in Europe in January

I have 10 days in late January and I don’t care about crowds since there won’t be any. Open to basically anywhere. Torn between warmer-ish cities (Seville? Malta? Lisbon?) or going full ski town in the Alps.

I don’t ski but I love mountain views, fondue, and cozy bars. Is it weird/awkward to stay in a ski village without skiing? Or would I be bored by day 3.

Alternatively, is Seville actually warm in January or is that a lie?
