I am traveling to Phuket with my mom for 3 days and was wondering if anyone could recommend an area to stay at. So far I narrowed it down to Kata Beach, Karon Beach or Kamala Beach (but open to change )
Also if you have some insider tips on great food spots / bars / must do’s over there, I would love to hear about them

I’d recommend Kata beach.
You need to go to Tu Kab Khao Restaurant (shouldn’t miss!). I love the food here so much. All my friends too!
Bar: Baba Nest | Beach club: Cafe Del Mar Beach Club
Must do is watching sunset at Lheam Prom Thep
If you have time, go to the Coral Island (10-15min with the speed boat)
If you need anything more, please let me know! & Don’t forget to try the original southern food.

I’d suggest Kata beach! It’s closed to the well known Patong beach but not as busy! You’ve gotta check out Rawai village if you are a seafood lover. Watching the sunset at Lam Prom Thep, and don’t forget to try their Roti+Curry sauce!
