# A Douro Valley river cruise from Porto

Looking at a Douro Valley river cruise as part of a Portugal trip, out of Porto. Trying to work out whether a two or three-night cruise is worth it or if a day trip up the valley covers it, and the best time of year for the vineyards. For anyone who’s cruised the Douro, what would you do? Thanks in advance.
